QB type spherical transfer pump (spherical pump) is a new type of liquid transfer pump, which is a positive displacement spherical rotor pump. The spherical rotor design of the pump endows it with many application properties. The spherical rotor is assembled inside the spherical pump casing, and the four volume chambers formed by the main shaft driving the rotor rotation enable it to provide high flow conveying at lower speeds. The compression action of the rotor piston is relatively gentle, with small flow shear and stirring motion for the conveyed material. Spherical pumps possess adaptability in conveying both low viscosity and high viscosity materials.

The viscosity range of the medium conveyed by QB type spherical pump is very wide, ranging from water with a viscosity of 1cp to cooling lubricating grease with a viscosity of 100000pp, which it can easily handle. The spherical pump is made of different materials (ductile iron, tin bronze, stainless steel high nickel corrosion-resistant alloy), making it not only suitable for general lubricating liquids, but also capable of transporting liquids with high temperatures, corrosiveness, non lubricity, as well as flammable, explosive, and diluted solvents. It has been widely used in industries such as chemical, paint, pharmaceutical, oil refining, and food in China.

Applicable media: various paints, coatings, resins, adhesives, petroleum products and by-products, various animal and vegetable oils, syrups, honey, pastes, inks, ink oils, paraffin oils, kerosene, glycerol solvents, etc.

The QB spherical rotor pump has a reasonable design structure, novel type, non-contact, frictionless operation, anti leakage, and long service life. It mainly consists of pump body, pump cover, main and driven shafts, packing box, overflow valve, spherical rotor components, base and other parts. Suitable for transporting various liquids in industries such as chemical, coatings, dyes, food, and pharmaceuticals.

The rotor of QB spherical rotor pump applies the principle of universal joint. The rotor is installed in the spherical pump housing, and the rotor rotates under the drive of the active shaft, allowing the liquid passing through the rotor to flow directly into the pipeline from the pump chamber. It does not have the trouble caused by gears, blades, impellers, etc., so the compression action appears gentle and has minimal flow shear and stirring motion.

Technical highlights of QB type spherical rotor pump:
1. High cost-effectiveness; Due to the design structure of the spherical rotor, the spherical pump only requires limited maintenance during use. There is no impact contact between metals, easy installation, high volumetric efficiency, long service life, and relatively high cost-effectiveness compared to other pumps.
2. The active shaft of the spherical pump drives the rotor to rotate once to complete four suction and discharge processes. Due to the overlapping of the four suction and discharge processes, it has good work continuity, low pulsation, smooth operation, and low noise.
3. The spherical pump has good suction performance, with two suction ports and two discharge ports. It can achieve suction and discharge functions using either suction or discharge port, and has a very flexible installation method. It can be used as a vehicle unloading pump.
4. Spherical pumps can operate in both forward and reverse directions without any performance differences. The flow direction of the conveyed liquid depends on the rotation direction of the spindle, and simply adjusting the overflow rotary valve component 180 ° can quickly achieve directional conveying.
5. Spherical pumps can achieve regulation of different flow rates. Adjusting the angle between the driving shaft and the driven shaft (by replacing the pump cover) can achieve flow regulation.
6. The carbon fiber packing or mechanical seal inside the spherical pump packing box has good leak prevention performance.
